Date: November 2, 2023 Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm During 2023 Mobility Week, Best Workplaces for Commuters will host a webinar to announce Florida's Best Workplaces for Commuters. The list includes Best Workplaces, Best Sites and Best Universities across Florida recognized for demonstrating that they offer transportation choices valued highly by their employees, such as vanpooling, teleworking, carpooling, biking, walking, or taking transit.

On September 18, 2023, Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC) hosted a webinar for TDM week, "Plan for Success: The benefits of building TDM into your projects from the start."
Along with Julie Bond, BWC Program Director, guest speakers included Whit Blanton, Executive Director, Forward Pinellas, Eric Hill, Director of Transportation System Management and Operations, MetroPlan Orlando and Amanda Christon, Transit Manager, Broward MPO. Each had a unique perspective to share and participated in a lively panel discussion.

The Census Bureau recently released data about the reasons people have moved. - "To be closer to work/easier commute" was the 2nd highest employment-related reason for moving.
- The Census Bureau estimated the number of people who stated they moved to be closer to work/easier commute in 2022 to be about 1.2 million.
- "To be closer to work/easier commute" was #12 out of 20 reasons for moving, including 3 family-related, 5 employment-related, 6 housing-related and 6 other reasons.
