Changing How America Commutes
During 2023 Mobility Week, Best Workplaces for Commuters hosted a webinar to announce Florida's Best Workplaces for Commuters. The list includes Best Workplaces, Best Sites and Best Universities across Florida recognized for demonstrating that they offer transportation choices valued highly by their employees, such as vanpooling, teleworking, carpooling, biking, walking, or taking transit.
Mobility Week is a cooperative effort by the Florida Department of Transportation and its partner agencies to promote awareness of safe, multimodal transportation choices.

Guest Speaker: Brendan Guess Florida Department of Transportation District 5
Mr. Guess provided an overview of Florida's eighth annual Mobility Week.
Keynote Speaker: Philip Winters Program Director, Transportation Demand Management Center for Urban Transportation Research
Mr. Winters shared various trend data that can impact the different behaviors many of us are seeking to influence. Trends include access to commuter benefits, carpool and vanpool modes, flexible work schedules, and micromobility trends.
Announcement of Florida Best Workplaces for Commuters:Each Florida BWC member was recognized by having their name read aloud during the ceremony by Commuter Assistance Programs such as Commute Connector, Commute Tampa Bay, reThink Your Commute, RideOn Commuter Services and South Florida Commuter Services.
