On August 22, 2024, Best Workplaces for Commuters and Forth hosted the webinar, "Workplace Charging for Clean Cities and Communities" to learn from Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant on how Clean Cities and Communities and their stakeholders can effectively deploy workplace charging solutions at workplaces. Clean Communities of Central New York shared their experience with implementing workplace charging, including successes and lessons learned. EVNoire shared information on two U.S. Department of Energy Funded programs that provide free technical assistance and support for anyone looking to install Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Brianna Bennett, Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant
Brianna Bennett, Sustainability Coordinator for the Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant (HMLP), has been with HMLP for about two and a half years. Her primary responsibilities include coordinating energy projects such as the installation of EV chargers, administering communications, and managing rebate programs. She recently graduated with a Sustainability Master's from Harvard Extension School. Brianna previously studied at Merrimack College to attain a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sustainability Studies and Political Science.
Barry Carr, Clean Communities of Central New York
Barry Carr has spent his career in the advanced transportation world; working with major utilities and fleets to develop alternative fuel infrastructure; including: EV Level 2 charging, natural gas, renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and DC Fast Charge systems. For the last 15 years, Barry has volunteered as the Executive Director for Clean Communities of CNY, the US DOE’s Clean Cities Coalition hosted by Syracuse University. Barry currently serves on both the Federal and State Government Advocacy Committees for NGV America; the Avangrid Community Advisory Board, the CenterState CEO Government Relations Committee, and is the co-chair of the Northeast Gas Association.

Rori Kirkpatrick is the Electric Vehicle Innovation Strategy Implementation Specialist of EVNoire, an award-winning, tech consultancy working on electric, connected, shared, and autonomous vehicle solutions. Rori uses her experience in transportation planning, program management, and sustainable solutions to deliver impactful results driven by data and foster equitable transportation policy recommendations and programs.
