The inaugural BWC 2026 Virtual Forum will convene BWC members, partners, and community leaders for an in-depth exploration of the topics they value most.

Featured speakers will present insights from exemplary commuter benefits programs nationwide. Participants will have access to focused networking sessions designed specifically for employers, universities and colleges, and commercial and residential sites.

Welcome to the inaugural BWC 2026 Virtual Forum! We’re thrilled to bring together an incredible community of employers, universities, transportation professionals, and partners committed to advancing commuter benefits nationwide.

Sustainable Commuting at Inova
Speaker: Abdias A. Irizarry, Sustainability Program Manager, Inova Health System

Join Abdias Irizarry as he shares how Inova, based in Fairfax County, Virginia, is leading the way in sustainable commuting through innovative, commuter-friendly solutions. From shuttle buses to Metro and inter-campus shuttles to bike storage, nearby bus stops, and EV charging stations, Inova’s programs make sustainable travel practical and accessible. Abdias will highlight best practices, measurable impacts, and lessons learned, followed by a 10-minute Q&A to help attendees explore actionable ideas for their own organizations.
